DEDICATED TO IMPROVING LIVES

Mission Bells Food Pantry has served SW Houston since 1985. We get much of our food from Houston Food Bank at a low or zero cost. We supplement that food with purchases from local grocery stores. All our money comes from donations; we have no other sources of income. We have no paid employees. All of us are volunteers. Volunteers are the back bone of our mission. We could not have accomplished what we have without them. THANK YOU, VOLUNTEERS! We need more volunteers to help us support families in difficult situations and support our fight against food insecurity.

* People served since January 2021: 132,598 * Food Given: 1,076,276 Lbs. * 3,000 volunteer Hours

The Houston Durga Bari Society has been one of our ardent supporters. They collect and donate food several times a year to support our mission of providing assistance to those with food insecurity in the community

The International Leadership of Texas is another supporter of Mission Bells. This time, the 7th graders of IL Texas collected and donated 500 Lbs. of canned food to the food pantry. Because of their generosity hundreds of families in this community will not go to bed hungry for the next few days. The school encourages the students to live the moto of “OTHERS BEFORE SELF.” Thanks IL Texas! Thanks 7th grade!!

Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in action. They have been helping us in several activities for nearly a year.
